Me and my friend tried to dye our hair blue using some ****ty cheap dye and nothing happened

Literally the same thing happened with my friend. He bought a blue hair dye and he thought he had put on enough so he gave the last remaining bit to me. The next day we were looking at each others hair in the sunlight very disappointed.

I mean his hair turned blue but not the good kind of blue. It was too dark. I guess he shoulda bleached it first.
