And let's not forget YD portraying obesity as a choice cause we always knew he was a Nazi.

When you see a "fat" adult you really don't know if it is by choice or a glandular problem. And there is nothing wrong with saying "who's chubby-wubby?" to a baby cause the baby has "baby fat."

I never said that all "fat" adults got there by choice, I simply said that there are plenty that did get there by choice and the pejorative term should be reserved for them. Not babies

Being fat by choice is my prerogative.

Carne Asada fries are much more important to me than my health.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

That's fair, but I think it's important to also note that obesity is more than just a problem for the individuals that can be classified as such, it's also a significant burden on the economy and health care systems in the US specifically. The numbers are pretty staggering

Voluntary obesity isn't just doing a disservice to the person, it's affecting the entire country

Are there any stats that actually prove that obesity is that big of a burden on our economy with proper context?

Unhealthiness in America is less voluntary than you think. This country only offers healthy food to people that can afford it.

It's a complex topic obviously so it's hard to say how much obesity is to blame specifically. I'm not going to spend the time compiling the numbers here, but it's worth researching for sure.

I don't agree at all, I have saved a lot of money and gotten a lot healthier when I started snacking on carrots (roughly $1) instead of a bag of chips (roughly $4), or when I started making big pots of vegetable stew on a Sunday and spreading that out over the week ($20 for the stew which yields ~10 meals) instead of eating fast food for lunch (roughly $8 per meal). There are so many ways to eat dirt cheap and healthy, people just don't want to do the research or put in the effort. Because making that big pot of stew and having it last all week is harder than hitting up the drive thru. I've gone through a lot of lifestyle changes in the past year or two, and I used to think the same way you do but in practice I've found it to be a lot smoother of a transition than I thought it would be

Do **** like this: https://i.imgur.com/Py3mljv.jpg

Broccoli, cauliflower, butternut squash, and some BBQ chicken. Healthy as ****. Absolutely delicious. Feeds you for a week. Costs barely more than $10 for all supplies.
