Has there been a massive shift in marathon runner demographics in the past 13 years or something?

Not necessarily, but you can be a female distance runner and not look like that
To be the absolute top tier elite you have to look like that though, so I guess there’s the distinction

There are a lot of people participating in any given marathon, you just happened to post a picture of one of the top 1% of runners.
The point is she’s in great shape and I’m proud of her

The characters were very convincing and although a lot happens, they didn't get all melodramatic about it. At the end, when they talk about the future, I was thinking, "Don't tell me - make sequel instead!"
