Nope. I grew up learning the language, culture and mannerisms of the upper class while actually being poor and living in small public housing. I feel alienated from the middle class as you describe it in two opposite ways, which don't cancel out at all

It's either naive or dishonest to frame opportunity for the beaten down as the oppression of the privileged or "exactly the same" as capitalist oppression though. Saying "bull****" is just a more direct way of saying that you're ignoring facts that make your statements untrue.

If you describe Soviet-style social engineering as offering "opportunity for the beaten down" then it's not Mucha who's ignoring the facts. If we're talking in the abstract, then yes, "opportunity for the beaten down" is a perfectly nice idea.
