That reminds me of when I worked at a record store, this was 1981. A guy kept calling asking if we had May Blitz. Of course, we didn't (used record store, my boss bought whatever people brought in). Poor guy, he sounded pretty burned out

Yea, May Blitz ... but why would a used record store, "of course," not have an album by them?
The albums would've been at least a decade old by then (?)

All I know is that we didn't carry them. Plus. my boss wasn't the most attentive person when it came to running a store; we closed down by the end of the year.

That's an expensive record now.

A few weeks ago I had a phone call asking if we had any "butcher covers" in.

I told him our shipment was late.
