This made my day.

Kaye Loggins from Brooklyn as Time Wharp.
I see young people like this and I get excited by
the obvious influences of groups and people who
were cutting edge at a time before these performers
were even born. I love seeing this for this kind of music.

You hear some Michael Rother/Neu influence on the first video
and Terry Riley and Laurie Spiegel on the second one.
Looking forward to the full album in the spring.
Earlier releases are worth hearing too.

My brother’s memorial service was this past weekend. My partner complained that I was being really self-centered the whole time.

I think it's very self-centered of your partner to claim you're being self-centered at your brother's memorial.

This was my day on Tuesday:

No one was injured and my fish are even still alive. I can't believe they weren't cooked. Also, my PRS (which is still sitting somewhere under all that wet insulation) and Dean Ukulele (pictured) didn't make it, but all other guitars are ok. All of my discs are salvageable as well. Everything else inside the condo is gone.

It's gonna be a long road back to normal.
