Damn, I keep getting my hopes up and then dashed again. So I wasn't able to go to DC because the guy that was going to give me a ride couldn't make it. He had to watch his kids because his mother flaked at the last min and said she wouldn't watch them and of course his ex wife was a PITA and didn't want to watch them either out of spite. So he couldn't go. There was a chance early this morning that he was getting pumped for that he might be able to go but they were also dashed away all his hopes and dreams. I say he should have just packed his stuff and taking the kids with him. I know I would.

I just ate crocodile for the first time. Fantastic. In a way it feels good to eat because they eat people every now and then - seems a bit more fair. Chickens for example, you rarely see them take down and eat a person.

You know what, I decided today that I didn't know what the **** I was thinking, going about mindlessly thinking I could actually do well with a film studies degree. At this point, I'm not experienced, I have no motivation to get experience, and, frankly, I'm not really that interested in the subject like I am, say, music production. Thus, that's what I'm changing my major to now. I'd say I accomplished something great today, now I can quit wallowing that there's no one to make films with and that everyone's better than me in the field. At least with music production, I'm interested enough to actually practice the subject constantly.

Off three seconds of listening, you have everything to loud. It's usually better to have it a bit quiet. You turn it all up as loud as you want in post. Also sounds like there is one mic in a room recording multiple instruments. That's a big no, no in recording. Record all instruments one at a time.

Also, turn the distortion down on the guitar. You can always add more in post. I generally record with no effects and add them in post.
