I don't get how to be normal, it seems everything I do is considered weird and the feeling of isolation and of being an outcast in life is just getting worse and worse. There is nothing positive or that I enjoy in my life anymore, music I used to love is just annoying now and I don't understand why everyone else seems to be happy and able to just get on with everything without being self conscious or depressed all the time.
Honey, there are more people unhappy than you probably realise. I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling down, have you considered talking to someone like a therapist? I have felt the same during the year of 2008-2009 and it took a long time for me to feel like myself again. It isn't easy growing up. In the end I embraced my weirdness, quirks and humour. I surround myself with people who really care (not just about themselves) but you can imagine there's not many. Just know that people on here care about you. Let me know if you want a chat. xx

That is fantastic man.
Envious of the pedals!

A lot of really nice things happened today..

I got to hold a poodle whose fluffy little fluffs were pink. And she gave me little poodle kisses! (I also saw a sheepdog and it was all happy and stuff.)

I finally caught a break from the fitting rooms and spent most of my day cleaning up the salesfloor. I helped out the girl who was on fitting room duty because she's really sweet and I don't like watching people struggle and get buried over there.

I had a really interesting conversation with a few of my coworkers about the study of the psychology behind birth order (and why certain personality traits can almost determine the order of one's birth and the relationship they have with their siblings/parents) but only after accurately guessing that someone was an only child (my other guess being that they were the youngest of two, years apart) born to parents who never married/were separated. People seem mesmerized by that shit, it's hilarious.

It was just an all around nice day at work; we closed $2k over expected sales goals and cleanup was relatively quick (though the store was a disaster).

Found out today that someone I went to grade school with just got diagnosed with brain cancer.

I didn't know the individual personally, though she was in my grade at the time.

Cancer sucks. It's so ****ing scary to think that there's a thing like cancer that can appear so spontaneously.

I sure as hell hope that if I do get cancer, it's in my arm or something and not something critical like my brain.

Brain cancer....holy cow that just sucks.

Thanks. I don't really think there's anything a therapist could do for me though. I am glad to hear that you got past your bad spell, and thank you for the kind words!

You don't joke about pregnancy scares though lol. Geez. I'd be mad at you if I was in his shoes.

His entire life probably flashed before his eyes thinking about his dreams being dashed away.
