Secondly, I only see one ellipsis, not two, so why are you referring to it as if it were plural? You also misspelled "ellipses".

I should probably clarify that I'm a mutant... Unfortunately, my only super power with these things, thus far, has been my ability to consistently win the Hey-Chelsea-C'mere-and-Let's-See-Whose-Hands-Are-Biggest-Game with my husband's friends. Incorrect. There are two different standards that apply to non-quote punctuation within quotes: the American rule is to put them in the quote, whereas the British rule is to keep them outside. The British method makes more sense, as far as I'm concerned, so that's what I generally use -- especially when it pertains to in-quote punctuation that is not appropriate to end the actual sentence, such as a question mark at the end of a non-question.
