To make matters even more depressing the lawyer she hired to present her case to... the disability board didn't do his ****ing job right, so she got turned down and now has to wait two years before being eligible for a new hearing (which is coming up in about a year I guess) with no guarantee that she won't get turned down again and have to reapply yet again. It doesn't help that she's got a mental rather than physical disability that's proven incredibly hard to diagnose due to doctors not really taking her seriously at times.

And of course if you take a job during the time you're waiting to get on disability that immediately shoots your claim in the foot because of course someone with no income should just bleed money for two years so that a few *******s gaming the system don't get to be welfare queens. As a result I'm pretty sure her savings are almost completely gone at this point and she's not even sixty yet.

**** me, man I was gonna leave those five extra beers I have lying around for some other day but that's going out the window right the **** now. God bless, America.

Holy **** dude. I've never known this I think. Wish there was a way I could help. That's gotta be rough.

Man I am so sorry about that, dude. I know we all give you **** here like you're just a loser going nowhere, but that's got to be hard to accept and live with. Heart out to you man, heart out.

i have a lot of stressful **** in my life going on but i dont type in down most days. some days i do, (like the door slamming in that one thread), but i mostly just tell everyone here what im eating and sharing videos.

A girl I've known from school was murdered six weeks ago.
I haven't seen her in ten years and didn't have any contact, but we used to be friends at some point.
Random guy tried to rape her in broad daylight, she managed to fight him off, he still strangled her.
Today they caught him in Spain.

Considering the circumstances I can both kind of understand but still totally not understand what your reaction might be, but I'm assuming rage sums it up to an extent. Sorry bout this ****, man.

It's not like I'm devastated or something, she hasn't been a part of my life for a long time and even back then she was in our group of friends but not like a very close friend.
It's just sad tbh.
