I'm reading The Dark Knight Returns atm so understand that you'll be looking at a lot of lemon faces as I watch Frank Miller write Ayn Rand in the guise of Batman. But I've got the first two trade paperbacks of Grant Morrison's Batman run in the mail so that'll be easier on you.

I enjoy Frank Miller. He's got some awkward poses sometimes here and there but overall he's solid.

He's kind of terrible tbh. He's got great moments and if he doesn't shove social conservatism in your face he can even sustain it, but he insists on social conservatism far too much. At least with Batman Year One he restricted it to that one cringy part with the hookers where he had Batman bitch about leather gay dudes who wanted to rape Bruce Wayne. And then he tried to defend the hooker child but then the hookers attacked him because Miller is obsessed with women ruining men.

I've been pretty depressed lately. It's the alcohol. I've been dancing with the whole quitting thing. One time I made it a whole week and it was weird as f*ck.

Tonight I'm finishing a bottle of wine because i don't want to have it tomorrow. Oh, if I didn't mention, I'm also stopping tobacco. Based on my own personal evidence that's a lot f*cking harder.

Today is the day I hope I can look back on and remember the last of something.

I don't know if I'll be successful but lately I really think it's worth the effort.

I feel this minus a couple things. I pretty much sat and watched tv all day yesterday because I couldn't get myself to do anything else. Today isn't much better but I have work so it'll keep my mind occupied. Though I suppose the big difference is that I basically gave up trying to better anything. I'm practically depressed on a daily basis but I don't mention it often because it's just a part of my life.

Hoping for you to succeed tho.

Haven't had a drink in 20 months. It really became difficult over the summer with the World Cup on and England playing, but managed to get through that. It'll be two years at Christmas. I don't think I'll never drink again but just trying to avoid it for today.

I don't miss it, lots of positives (including MH) that I'm not gonna bore you with. It's worth it good luck Freebase.

Also 3 years without tobacco however I do vape.
