No, exactly the opposite - I think the world as a whole needs to be better, and I believe that it can be. People who believe that men are underpriviledged as a general rule are usually trying to defocus efforts on people who actually are disadvantaged. There's a hierarchy of priviledge, and it shouldn't but does exist and it causes problems that range from finding a job to not being harrassed by police or just people in general.

None of that really has anything to do with Africa, though I believe that Africa is mistreated by the rest of the world, and our corporations contribute to suffering simply by not sharing their advantages with them (or us, lulz) and actually have historically stolen a lot from them.

In a nutshell, you could say I believe that debts will always pile up, and there's a time when they got to be paid. Men are owed less of that debt, and the debt they are owed isn't because they're men.

I read recently that 18% of American companies have a CCC- credit score. It's not only individuals (regardless of being male/female) it just the way the world is, from the top down, countries, companies, people. You should really watch "The Way We Live Now" TV mini-series based on the novel by Anthony Trollope it explains everything.

it's the exact attitudes you have that they were referring to, the idea that women are naturally inclined to be less scientifically minded or less inclined to positions of leadership
Actually, Oh Bondage, Up Yours! was just making fun of punk fashion.

If you believe that there is some degree of biologic difference which exists between men and women than what is the most appropriate way to determine if a particular statistic is a representation of that difference or the societal structure?

While it's becoming increasingly difficult because of globalism, it's typically done by comparing different cultures. An example is the Hofstede cultural dimensions studies that separate cultures by individualism & collectivism, uncertainty avoidance levels, power distance, and masculinity & femininity (task orientation versus person-orientation), which led to the conclusion that men and women only really have physiological differences. That said, I don't know how much research has been done to identify gender differences in the way that we respond to those societal pressures. It would be interesting if the traditional American understanding of gender roles was consistent across all masculine individualist cultures.
