In regards to the topic - because we got our rights, just like how white people in America already got theirs. Saying "we demand more rights" is basically saying you miss being as oppressive as you were 70, 80, 90 years ago when women and colored people were even bigger minorities and even had separate rights. In less spoken terms, women and minorities still do have separate rights, so that's why. In a nutshell, it's ludicrous.
