Oh and I've vaguely heard about the Atlanta Child Murders but please give me the best specific venue to educate myself (documentary, murderpedia page, podcast episode, etc.)

Honestly the best portrayal was in season two of Mindhunter. There are plenty of docs on the case, but they always lack some element of the bigger picture. I would start with the wiki article tbh.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlant...9%E2%80%931981

The story has everything - murder, coverups, toying with police, convicting the wrong person, corrupt cops, a mayor that doesn't want to announce crucial information about the suspect to the public because it would look bad for re-election or whatever, the KKK, etc. You'll see.

OccultHawk 08-20-2020 10:02 PM

Everybody knows it was a psycho cop.

WWWP 08-20-2020 10:50 PM

Why do you never see a psycho cop and a KKK member in the same room?

Is this a joke? If so give it to me. The cop was probably involved with the klan.

The Night Stalker was so named because of a 1972 movie.

UK serial killer offered COVID-19 vaccine before millions of vulnerable, elderly

OccultHawk 01-24-2021 08:55 AM

This is one where we have to think with our heads and not with our hearts. Prisons across the globe are universally hotspots. It spreads to the correction workers and into the community. Plus, the massive numbers of covid positive prisoners increases the likelihood of dangerous mutations. I’m not saying I know how the vaccine should be rolled out but I do think lay people should put their feelings aside and let epidemiologists make the best decisions they can.

This but also there will more than likely be more to this anyway.

The Sun has a history of making things up. Whenever I see something and it's published by The Sun I just know they're leaving stuff out or just completely making it up to create rage.

LiL (Ladyislingering) is a former member of the forum who was a serial killer Stan who ran a blog featuring edited images featuring Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer as a homosexual couple.

I miss LiL.

As a 5 year late reply to Batlord, I too find Dahmer interesting. It's difficult to reconcile his hellish existence and the things he did with the person in those interviews. Particularly the story of Konerak Sinthasomphon creeps me out.

For those who don't know, Dahmer claimed he wasn't actually a necrophile. Rather, he just wanted the complete control that having sex with dead bodies gave him. So, he thought he might create sex zombies instead and started drilling holes in people's head and trying to scramble their brains with boiling water or acid.

One of his victims to go through the sex zombie treatment was 14 year old Konerak Sinthasomphon. He got his head drilled opened and treated with acid. He awoke later and managed to escape Dahmer's apartment while he was at work at the chocolate factory. He was naked, bleeding from his ass from the rapes and unable to speak due to the brain damage and was actually found by some women who called the cops. While the cops were trying to figure this out, Dahmer appeared after having driven around, looking for Konerak. The cops gave Konerak back to Dahmer, I think even escorting them both back to the apartment.

At least, while he put people through some awful ****, he wasn't a complete sadist like Dean Corll or Robert Berdella.

I think it would read smoother if you said “more triggers than a Texas gun show” but that’s just a suggestion

Those NRA bitches just lobby for corporations. They probably don’t even allow guns in their offices.

Trollheart 02-07-2021 10:08 AM

Fair enough, but the logo is done now and I don't want to go changing it. Only a weak joke in any case; you could also use the word triggers in its other sense, like someone shouting "the govt are coming for your guns" or "Sandy Hook" or something. Meh.

Anthony Sowell, serial killer known as the "Cleveland Strangler," has died at 61 from a terminal illness

SGR 02-13-2021 03:14 PM

Have we discussed Bela Kiss in this thread?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%A9la_Kiss

What do you think Batlord? Would you consider him to be underrated?

Quote:

Béla Kiss (/kɪʃ/; Hungarian: [ˈbeːlɒ ˈkiʃ]; 28 July 1877 – after 4 October 1916) was a Hungarian serial killer. He is thought to have murdered at least 23 young women and one man, and attempted to pickle their bodies in large metal drums that he kept on his property.

Oh and straight up Ted Bundy is my #1 serial killer, partly due to him being my first dive into serial killers and partly because of his crazy media story but honestly the more you delve into serial killers the more you realize how pathetic and unimpressive they are. Even Gary Ridgeway just seems like a loser you'd give a wedgie to in high school. But the sheer audacity of Ted Bundy still after all these years demands respect. He's the reason why law enforcement has made sure there'll never be another Ted Bundy.

Hard to top Ted Bundy. I think Albert Fish is still the one that has captivated my imagination for the longest period of time.

OccultHawk 02-13-2021 07:10 PM

I like that Russian Chessboard killer. He’d invite you to drink a bottle of vodka and after it was empty he would literally shove it down their throats.

I also like the Japanese kid who put his victims heads on spikes in front of their schools.

Guybrush 02-18-2021 07:47 AM

IMO they're by and large all pathetic creeps, also Bundy and especially Albert Fish. Serial killer fanboyism is very dumb.
