If I had a kid and I posted a picture of her/him, the response would be different. My response to that would be different.

There are very few of us who see a picture of your kids and generally feel warmth or nice feelings. The rest of the board sees it as an opportunity to make fun of you.

I'm not telling you to stop doing it because you're allowed to in most fashions but for f*cks sake man, realize this isn't facebook full of your old band buddies and realize that the majority of the board doesn't want to see your family photos. I wish it wasn't like that. I'm indifferent to it. It's nice to hear your family is doing well. The majority of the rest of this board are sharks though.

Stop swimming with the sharks.
This is a cold hard slap in the face that I enjoyed.

This is my bar. Can I not pull out my wallet and show pictures without considering them trophies? Your perspective is ****ed up.

It seems it's unique to you though. You're the one calling me out so I must have crossed YOUR line. Explain your line to me.

You pissed Grindy? Let's take it offline because I'm pissed too. This place often times resembles a kindergarten managed by 3rd graders.

And Plank: I'm gonna shout it out. I'M ABOUT TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER. IT'S AS MUCH ABOUT ME (IN THIS FORUM'S CONTEXT) AS IT IS ABOUT HER. We both happen to be really proud about it and are sharing it everywhere. Pretty sad that this place can't deal with mature life stuff.

I really like this forum most times. I really dislike this forum sometimes.

Exo nailed though.

Way to ignore everything I posted that doesn't fit into your wholesome granddad narrative, Chula.
I can't wait for the thread you'll make encouraging people to make sexual comments about your granddaughter.
Hope you'll wait until she's eighteen.

Join the club.

I also think most of the issues that arise with you can be attributed to "I'm a sort of old man who does't understand how the internet works". It's still the wild west in most regards. Fill us in but the pictures man, the pictures is just asking for it time and time again. The pictures don't need to exist. You can just fill us in. Pictures just seam like an attention grab which is why a lot of people go after you for it. This isn't facebook.

That's mostly in regards t your family. You can posts pictures of yourself so we can make fun of your shoes and move on. The sharks will go after your family though. It will never end.

I get ya, buddy. I'm really happy for you and all involved, and I'd be shouting it from the roof tops too, but you also have to know when to reel that pride back in a bit and just let it be. Share the things you love with the ones you love.

How immature. And you're a mod. How ****ing immature. Digging up a stupid post from 5 years ago when I was a rookie, that was taken down in less than 20 minutes, to try and re-enforce your current narrative - grow up.

I thought better of you man. Go hang out with Elph.

- your drug use
- the amount you drink
- where you're going on vacation
- who's coming to visit you
- your mental defects
- the medications you take
- places you hang out
- places you eat
- your sexual appetites
- who you'd like to ****
- personal pictures
- how ****ty your parent(s) were/was
- how ****ty your sibling(s) were/was
- how ****ty your spouse was/is
- intimate details about family
- your sexual orientation
- the ups and downs of your career
- your financial problems
- your financial gains
- your personal opinions on religion
- your personal opinions on politics
- your personal opinions on world events
- crimes you've committed
- requesting legal advice
- your relationships
- your kids

etc.

Draw me a line please. I posted about becoming a grandfather for the first time. That didn't work out. Then we got the green light again and I posted an ultrasound picture - the technology today is AMAZING - and now it's suggested I went too personal.

Draw me a line please.
Look on the bright side at least you're out there exposing yourself and who you are. You're not someone who's paranoid to reveal anything remotely personal and will never fit in MB, like myself.

Can you honestly answer any of these questions:
- what's my favorite colour?
- who's my favorite artist or band?
- do I prefer jeans or khakis?
- what brand sneakers do I wear?
- what's my favorite cereal?
- Is English even my first language?

See. Get the picture?
