I have terrible self-discipline so I think I'll limp my way to liver failure in 20 years at most and hurl myself off a building when the time is ripe.

Better than going to rehab, imo.

Well, looks like you had the serenity to accept the things you could not change and wisdom to know the difference, or something.

It's a matter of chasing that day you remember that was fun. Except you still find those days so it's not an exercise in futility so much as hope that this day will be one of those days. Even if those days become fewer and farther between. And tbh the days you're chasing aren't even the fun, carefree days. They're the days where you're out of control with a high tolerance that allows you to be fall down drunk but still be aware enough to enjoy the total lack of coherency where even your vision doesn't feel like reality. That's the stuff the normies can't understand cause they can't reach that level but you can and you know that it's both alarming and transcendent.

I mean for real how can people who've only ever read about alcoholism tell you what you should and should not do if they've never experienced that? It's like a virgin telling you to wait till you're married to have sex cause of STD's.

Doesn't sound like something someone should go to rehab for.

Trust me. Alcoholics ****ing hate alcohol. For everything there is a season. There’s a time for drunkenness and then a time for sobriety.

My life is dark and painful. I don't know how to live a life that isn't dark and painful. Dark and painful is my comfort place.
