It's weird where I live cause other than the schools closing, some people wearing masks and gloves, and restaurants closing their dining rooms there's kind of a mindless, business-as-usual mentality that makes it hard to accept this all as reality. I mean literally almost no one I talk to mentions Italy or China or any of the **** that happened or is happening there. I'm vastly curious how the next week will unfold.

they downplayed the story for too long and refused the readily available testing kits from the WHO probably cause somebody here wanted to make money making their own.

But China's dictatorship also suppressed the story early on by silencing and potentially killing several critics and whistle blowers so all the praise for their supposedly superior authoritarian response is probably also unwarranted.
