It's a bell curve.

2,000 posts - well adjusted, probably really chill and cool
13,000 posts - damaged goods
43,000 posts - definitely well adjusted

Lol. It's not a sensitive topic, but more of an "I hate it when men offer unsolicited advice at me" thing. Not even directed at you, we were having a dialogue, that was fine.

Shut up, you dumb bitch.

I've been trying to but there are zero dicks in my mouth to stop me from talking

The Batlord 11-26-2020 10:28 AM

Why do you think dudes only communicate in grunts?

It's honestly part of the male psyche to offer advice or solutions when someone talks about a problem.

I've had this same complaint from multiple women. "I just wanted you to listen, not solve the problem."

I guess I get the frustration on their end but on my end it's why even bring it up if you don't want answers. Cause it's boring to me to just listen to people's unsolved problems.

Nah you're just a dick.

Cause they want you to commiserate them with to show that you're on their side. Being talked at just makes you feel isolated.

fair point but the women who've expressed this to me say it's a common thing with men

yeah I get that it's just not my intuitive response

I do try to regulate that irl but that's part of why so many irl convos are boring and pointless to me. It's like performative half the time.
