You're definitely overestimating my knowledge of things.

Anyway, my handle should be a clue as to who my favorite band is. I'm very much into sixties in general as well as punk/new wave, folk, blues, etc. Along with the Beatles, I'm a big fan of REM, Bowie, the Kinks, and the Byrds among others

Well, I left a little more quietly there. I don't even know if they know what I did.

Anyway, I think I understand the people here a little more than I did before and I'll try not to take things as personally as I did before.

Hey, with you, me, Trolls, and maybe one or two others, we could have something of an old school club since we lived a lot of some of the older music that's popular here.

Glad to be back.
I did a search and we seem to have crossed paths briefly in the world cup thread. Definitely not enough to get to know you...

Anyway, I saw some of your last posts before you left back in 2018, if it helps, I do think this place has become significantly less toxic in the last year or so...

But anyway, MB is what you make of it I guess...welcome back...

I've seen fire and I've seen rain, but not everything. No time for that.

Can we quarantine the old men in this thread, please?

Still, I have to admit, I miss you guts and I have been lurking off and on, particularly out of curiosity as to what was happening to OH (who, I think may be lurking too by the way).

Anyway, a lot has happened since I left here. I went back to the writers forum after Trollheart had joined and we tried to start a music forum over there. Needless to say, it failed and I left not long after Trollheart did.

And, you want to talk about going down in flames? Well, they changed servers at WF and the powers that be decided they wanted to push out the retired staff members more or less reducing us to regular status in their own way. Quite a few of us felt rather insulted to be honest but one thing they did with the new server was give the member the ability to delete his account (kind of like how you guys can disable an account except that now the member can do it himself.) So, I deleted mine, that will show them

Anyway, after lurking now and then I've come to realize that most of us are here because maybe they're a little lonely and just need to have some friends to talk too, even if they are virtual.

So, I may pop in from time to time. I won't be as active as I once was as I have other things going, but I still have an appreciation for music, and I love that Marie Monday (who I haven't really met but have seen some of her posts) shares some of my musical tastes.

Anyway, hi, and maybe I'll hang out once in a while.
You remember me? I joined before you so I think I recall some of your posts around the time I was in college and my emo band.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
