None and none. I'm not a fan of hip-hop and certainly don't have anything coming even close to a favourite, or even least hated, song or album. It just doesn't register on my radar. I mean, I heard some very good hip-hop albums when doing the 2017 Wiki list thread, but I never listened to any of them again, nor would I.

It has been my lifelong ambition to be published. However as I approach my sixtieth year and am still not on the shelves of Easons or Waterstones, or on Amazons or Goodreads, I think that ambition is unlikely ever to be fulfilled. It's like everything isn't it: you just need the break; right person to read what you've written, but that's not likely ever to happen, so I've more or less locked that dream away in a closet, along with all my other hopes and ambitions, up there in the dusty darkness.

In fairness, I can't blame anyone. I never really tried. The stuff I wrote was too long for short stories and too short for novels, so there it is. What ya gonna do? Vanilla/Celladorina did offer to look at some of my stories, as she has contacts in Penguin I think, but I've yet to hear back. She's probably still laughing.

Oh nice, I just wondered if maybe you had any 80s or 90s classics you liked

Considering I have a whole thread about this it seems somewhat redundant to ask the question. However obviously I feel Russia is aggressively trying to re-establish its old empire, and I think Putin has made a grave miscalculation; he didn't expect either Ukraine to be so tough a target (AND to fight back!) nor the support they're getting from the rest of the west. I'd imagine in his whatever-he-uses-for-a-heart of hearts, he wants to pull back and sue for peace, but he's such a hard man he'll never do that. **** him.

I know nothing about this, did not even know there was one.

You have a crystal ball, do you? Again I know nothing of this, other than that the US is pledged to support Taiwan so again it could be a spark for World War III, all nations welcome to Hell.

I know that boat, and I've been aboard for a while now.

I can only offer some encouraging words, as in "It's never too late".

At what point does a diary become a journal?
Are all diaries journals or are all journals diaries?
And how does a memoir fit into all this?
If you write enough journals, should you just do an autobiography at that point?

That's what normal people are asking.

Back now. Major power outage with Virgin Media since yesterday afternoon; they only got it fixed in the last few hours.

As to BP's questions, let's see:

1. A diary and a journal are often the same thing, however not so here, as a diary is generally not meant to be read by anyone but the person who writes it (can't think of what you call that type of person - person who writes - writing person? Writist? It'll come to me). Also in case you were wondering, no, a dairy is something entirely different, and so is a diorama.

2. No

3. It doesn't; there's no room

4. When you become famous; nobody cares otherwise.
