I liked Frankie Boyle on Mock The Week. I watched some of his stand up on Live at the Apollo and thought it was fucking piss.

I can't stand him. I've never watched Mock the Week due to the annoying pricks they have on, which is sad as they sometimes have someone good on.

I find him genuinely funny on Mock the Week and even though I havent seen much of his stand up to be fair, what I have seen I thought was shit. I remember he came on stage and insulted his audience for a while which I thought was pretty weak, as far as I'm concerned any clown can do that but it doesnt make you a good comedian. I watched the rest of it too but wasnt impressed. I think it was Live at the Apollo but i'll concede if i'm wrong about that.

A friend of mine went to see his stand up and said he just recycled material from Mock the Week, which is why he bought the ticket in the first place.

I've only seen that once but yeah he always seems at least decent on panel shows. I had expected more from his stand up.
