I'm a Vonnegut fan, too...though it has been a long time since I read Slaughterhouse Five, and I don't think I've ever read Breakfast of Champions.

The Vonnegut book I remember reading last was Cat's Cradle, which I enjoyed a lot: "Cat's Cradle is a 1963 novel by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. It explores issues of science, technology, and religion, satirizing the arms race and many other targets along the way" (Wikipedia). The final scene really sticks in my mind, years after reading it.

Right now I'm binging on Holocaust books, having over the last several months read around 4 books by survivors and additional Holocaust books by historians. The Holocaust book I'm reading currently is Kinderlager: An Oral History of Young Holocaust Survivors.

It's a pretty decent book but the author's painfully biased writing style does hinder it quite a bit. I'm also not totally convinced by the facts, but I do agree with his underlying message.

I'm not digging it so far. This is one book that was definitely made better by theatre/film.

Just finished Stephen King's IT. So, so much better than the movie. I think I'm gonna read Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut next.

I love my terrorist thrillers. Sean Dillion is one of the best characters in history.
