I'm not saying that these are absolutely agreed upon, but any website where I actually found a list of the 100 greatest, or 10 greatest actors or performances or whatever, I linked them. These were like, within the first 3 pages of a google search.

I never said he is usually considered the greatest (as in number one). Usually he is either number 1, number 2, number 3. If you can't understand english, that is your fault. There were no misplaced modifiers in the sentence you quoted. It is your misunderstanding.

Do you see the period after "I never said I usually consider him the greatest (as in number one)."? The period indicates that particular thought is over. In my original post, which you have quoted twice now, there is a COMMA after

"He is usually listed as the greatest , or top three greatest"

That comma indicates that the thought is not finished with 'he is usually listed at the greatest.'. The clause which follows "He is usually listed as the greatest" adds a different meaning to the sentence than if the clause were not present.

I didn't think you needed a lesson in your own native language to this extent, but apparently I was wrong.

The 'or' does change the meaning of the sentence. If you can't understand the semantics of your own language, then pick up a grammar book. Don't try and argue with me about it. Lets look at each sentence, with and without the comma/conjunction.

"He is usually listed as the greatest ever."

The meaning of this sentence is;

'More times than not, Marlon Brando is listed as number one on a list of the greatest actors of all time'

"He is usually listed as the greatest, or in the top three greatest of all time"

The meaning of this sentence is;

'More times than not, Marlon Brando is listed as either number 1, number 2, or number 3 on a list of the greatest actors'

Since my quote INCLUDES the comma/conjuction, its meaning is the latter. Anyone with a 3rd grade understanding of this language understands the difference between the two sentences. Surely even the people who pander to you, and take your side in every argument that you get me to write for you, understand english well enough to see that you look like a fool in this argument.
