You jest surely. Strasberg taught both of them how to act. Plus, De Niro acted in italian...

Strasberg did not teach Brando how to act. If you are going to credit anyone with that credit Stella Adler, and later, perhaps Elia Kazan. Anyway, you are certainly in the minority if you believe Lee Strasberg and Robert DeNiro better actors than Marlon Brando, who is usually listed as either the greatest, or at least top three greatest actors of all time. Brando's performance as Vito Corleone outshines every other performance in that series. He was incredible. His body language, how he uses items nonchalantly. Everything about that performance was incredible.

Not to discredit DeNiro or Strasberg, who are both certainly great actors, but to say that they are greater actors on the whole, than Marlon Brando is ridiculous. And to say that their performances were better than Brando's in the series is almost blasphemy.

Brando>>>DeNiro>>Strasberg.

Also, I don't see why you credit DeNiro so highly for acting in Italian, considering he spoke italian since childhood. That would be like crediting me for giving a great performance in English.

Well, since you can't really measure the quality of a performance, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Brando pissed his talent away. All his lines in Godfather were posted around the set, because he could'nt be bothered to remember them. The guy always had the best raw talent and charisma, but he was emotionally fúcked up, and never realised his full potential. God damn shame methinks.

So, you are discrediting his performance as an actor because he wouldn't remember his lines? By 1972, he was Marlon f*cking Brando. He didn't have to remember his lines. He improv'd and was better than any other actor on that set. The fact that his lines were posted around the set, yet he was still able to give an absolutely incredible performance as Vito Corleone...I'm missing how this is wasted talent. How can you call talent wasted, when this talent produced films like The Godfather, Apocalypse Now!, The Missouri Break, Last Tango in Paris. These are some of the greatest movies of all time. Not a waste of talent at all.

I vote for GODFATHER TRILOGY, closely followed by LOTR.

STAR WARS is by default as the prequels were shít!
But you wouldn't have Star Wars without the events in the prequels. I mean, Darth Vader didn't just appear out of thin air and started speaking like James Earl Jones, right?

I voted Star Wars, obviously. All 6 movies owned like a fat man owns a box of Krispy Kremes.
