ok.....took a break and saw this....
 Moonlight wow. 2016 really is turning into a year of amazing film. what an enthralling film about watching a young man grow up. honestly damn near perfect. gearing myself up for Manchester by the Sea gonna watch La La Land now. |

yeah i'm thinking Lion may open here now that is has some buzz. Moonlight was amazing man....i knew what i was going into and got something completely surprising. Hidden Figures tonight....slowly building my way to Manchester by the Sea....from what i'm hearing it will take a week of La La Land to pull me out of the depression caused by it |

I'm kind of hoping that it doesn't win best picture because if it does, the movie industry will become saturated with musicals. Not really anything against the film itself though.
Did The Witch not make the mark as a 2016 film or something? Zero nominations for what I thought was best film of the year (and probably the past couple of years before it)? Were there not enough black characters?

What about my edit? Because saying that The Witch has no substance sounds like you either don't understand what you're saying (or maybe the film) or you did not actually watch the movie.
