It almost seems like she tries to go for a Kathy Griffin thing, at times, but obviously it is not working. I find the whole offensive/gross for the sake of being offensive and gross shtick extremely dull. Schumer in particular reminds me of those 'cool girls' who have no female friends and attempt to mimic frat boy humor in order to demonstrate how special and Not Like Those Other Girls they are.

I will! (I assume you mean the 2015 film, and not the 1999 film of the same name?)

Currently watching The Martian, and while Matt Damon is fantastic (as usual), as much as I love the sciencey **** (as a layman), and the space porn is glorious (****ING MARS!!!), the real point of this is to post one of the greatest lines in any movie ever: "I'm gonna dip this potato in some crushed Vicodin." Amazing.

Read the book first. They did an amazing job with the movie of nailing the vibe, and humor or the book. A couple of my favorite lines are:

"I'm going to have to science the **** out of this." and,

"In your face Neil Armstrong!"

Yes, those were awesome lines, but I'm already watching the movie. Why would I stop?

Yea, the movie seal has been broken. Can't go back.

The Martian almost made we faint. I had to look away during an intense scene.

There were a few notable sciencey nitpicks that bothered me, but overall a really fun flick.

Just finished. Awesome movie. And as I was hoping it made everything about my life that has prevented me from being an astronaut just the worst. How the **** can I not be going into space?

Read as in RED. Not REED.

Trainspotting 2. Really a shame that it isn't playing in my city. Loved it. I can't believe it's been 20 years. The sequel was much darker, and really instills a sense of mortality in the audience.

And I'll definitely enjoy my vinyl copy of "Long Slow Slippy" more now that I've experienced it in the context of the film.

Suitable reaction. After the gore buzz wore off I felt quite satisfied with what I had seen. Refreshingly gritty horror.
