If you can see your Mighty Wind then you should change your diet.

If you liked that one check out For Your Consideration and Waiting for Guffman.

Frownland 05-09-2018 06:40 PM

Waiting for Guffman is the best one imo. Best in Show is a close second.

For me it goes

A Mighty Wind > For Your Consideration > Waiting for Guffman > Best in Show.

Never seen Spinal Tap.

Never managed to watch For Your Consideration. Need to get on that. Mascots looked really bad from the trailer.

Traffic. For the first time in over a decade.

Perfect movie. Soderbergh's magnum opus.

Clyde is Kewl but Albini you can go **** yourself. Sampling is Transformative! I mean that's what H3 would argue. Just mention the artist you sampled from.

Thnx for sharing this. :yeah:

I Remember You

I think that ghost stories have a lot of untapped potential for brilliant storytelling and this film tells me that I'm right about that. This Icelandic film is a really interesting blend of horror, mystery, noir, romance, and supernatural thriller that focuses on loss, grief, betrayal, and obsession. Excellent cinematography, symbolic sets, great pacing, sparing but gripping use of suspense, and extremely ****ing creepy atmosphere. This is sort of similar to The Wailing but not as a convoluted. Some of the dialogue is a bit expository but I guess that beats a flashback scene. I really enjoyed this. 4.5/5
