North By Northwest is a terrific movie and Eva Marie Saint isn't too hard on the eyes either.

Decent film. Felt the overly shocky ending bit might have been a bit much but eh... decent film none-the-less.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God

I love a good classic beauty, and I love Hitch****. Recipe for a good film here.

Yeah, I thought it was extremely overrated too.

Deer Hunter bores the living daylights out of me - only find the Russian Roulette scenes slightly rivetting

Deer Hunter is long-winded and not that entertaining to me, but I find it quite interesting how [minor spoiler] powerful the russian roulette torture was and how it affected and stayed with this guy later in life. I think that the story or message that the movie tells is very interesting and it makes up for the bores and snores.

Same here. And even that scene wasn't that great.

Finally, people who agree with me on Deer Hunter! The dialogue's clunky, it's far too long and it just tries too hard all round for my liking. As others have said, the Russian roulette scene was worth all the fuss though.

Still, Cimino's followup project Heaven's Gate is from another world of dull altogether, and acutally makes Deer Hunter look pretty riveting by comparison.
