I only have a PS1, PS2 and a 360, so I've missed that one.

Mass Effect rules my ass no matter how many terrible aspects there are to all the games. Femshep is my favorite video game character bar none and her voice actress is as amazing as you could ever expect from a voice actor. Please tell me you're not playing male Shep. **** him and his incompetent voice actor.

It just doesn't feel engaging to me after a while, so I stopped playing those Arkham games.
Nah you're just a loser. It's not a super complex system by any means, but it's intuitive as **** and if you get hit it's probably just cause you got over eager. It's pretty obvious that to be able to feel like the badass that Batman is that it should be a combat system that is satisfying but simple, otherwise you'll just feel like a bitch unless you put in the time necessary to succeed at a high learning curve fighting game, and let's be honest, **** those games. I just want to beat ten guys' asses at once like a true superhero.

Except countering does little to no damage so you can indeed spam it but then spend five minutes fighting a 30 second battle. I tried it with that corridor at the end of the game with like 20 guys right before you fight Joker and it just didn't end until I died and then just fought it up front which was way more fun and effective.

I love fighting games, what can I say? Doesn't mean that I want all games to be a complicated mess like Guilty Gear, but those Batman games didn't do much else but bore me.

Best fighting game ever made: Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution on PS2. Play that for a few years and then tell me again that Arkham Asylum has a good fighting system. Not quite how I actually see things, but if you're gonna be unreasonable, then so am I!

I don't want to play any fighting game for a few years. Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were great back in the day but once you've put that time into fighting games they are a two-dimensional experience that can be engaging for short periods of time but get boring pretty quick. I'd rather play DOA Beach Volleyball than DOA tbh. At least those games are amusing.

I hear it's great.

EDIT: oh wait. I know what you're talking about now.

The last Street fighter i really sinked a lot hrs and actually got gud was alpha 3 but the recent Mk games far surpass the old ones. You gotta check them out they're great.

Tried playing Injustice: Gods Among Us recently and almost threw my controller against a wall cause the timing of the combos was so frustrating that it felt like the video game equivalent of talking to a wall, and I hear that game has the same combat system as one of the newer Mortal Kombats. Sorry, but fighting games have always felt like a minor bit of fun while you're thinking of another game to play. I don't give a **** about gitting gud, I just want to beat my friends up and playing the computer is anti-climactic as ****. Also I don't have XBox Live so I can't even play against human players online and even if I could I probably wouldn't care. Fighting games are a useless genre of game that I don't even know would be engaging if I were good at them.
