Yeah, I'm sure they'd be practically the same. It appears like the main difference with the 64 one was the soundtrack, as there's mostly original stuff as opposed to the awesome 90's electronic artists like Orbital.

I'd like to get the other ones in the series at some point, but for some reason those don't seem as common to come by as the third one.

That would be great, but it looks like the only collection is the Omega Collection which is just the two newest games. Would've been nice if there was a remaster of the first three or something like that.

That'd be dope. Did you ever check out Redout? It's probably the most up to date fast racing game that definitely takes a lot of inspiration from Wipeout. Definitely check it out. I've played it and it's great.

No I haven't, but it sure looks fantastic. I'll probably get it next time it goes on sale on Steam (Hopefully that'll be soon).

It usually goes on sale. I recommend using a controller since it's basically built for one. You'll love it. The music is great and you feel so fast.

Still playing.

The high level extra missions are really fun. All of the enemies are so strong and hilariously aggressive. Good times.

I think the Hyaku Shiki is my fave suit. Nothing beats breakdancing around while slicing Zakus to bits.

As for pilots, Haman and Reccoa are where it's at. I love swooping in while the annoying generic anime protags of Gundam Seed argue about morality and smashing them all to pieces. And when they start whining, Reccoa is just nonchalanty like "Sorry. I'm a terrible person."
