Gotta get an HDMI converter though cause AV cables to a 55" TV looks rough.

Arcade beat 'em ups are cheap and frustrating to steal your quarters, and even console ones made you play the whole game in one go so they're still repetitive.

But Streets of Rage 4 chucks all those issues out the window by saving what levels you've completed but keeping difficulty and replay value by making your and the enemies' move sets complex enough to be fun to learn without making it so complex it ceases to be mindless curb stomping fun. It's the perfect beat 'em up.

And Blaze's boob jiggle is the real deal.

Yeah I made it to the final boss but couldn't beat him. I got frustrated and just left it alone. I might go back to it one day but whatevers don't care because I have a backlog of other **** to complete.

Have you checked out the new TMNT beat 'em up that came out last year?

I haven't watched it yet but I've been reading articles on it. I can't wait til May 12th rolls around.

Yes, it was my game of the year for that year. One of the best games I've ever played. I did a bandit and mage playthrough. Both great times. Probably have around 200+ hours in it at this point.

I just preordered both the game and the Tears of the Kingdom OLED Switch so I'm ready!

Speaking of new games, the first three Etrian Odyssey games are being remastered and released on the Switch in June and I'm gonna need all you ****ers to buy that **** cause I'm assuming the future of a new EO game depends on the remasters' sales and I must have more. They're the best JRPGs gameplay-wise and there is no replacement for them.

I will hurt you.

Is it an actual new game? I thought it was just a bundle of the old arcade games.

It's a new game with that classic '90s style

Having now done my taxes I have splurged on games and apparently the game I will be pouring time into is Shin Megami Tensei 5. If you have played a Persona game and dug it but never bothered with a Shin Megami Tensei game then you are doing yourself an absolute disservice.

Yes, it doesn't have the highly addictive Japanese school kid simulator thing going on but they have the same core gameplay cycle of Pokemon-for-adults demon collecting and combining and Persona simply is not on the same level of addictive party micromanagement as SMT.

This **** ias simply on its own level and the only series that can **** with it on pure party management nirvana is Etrian Odyssey, which is by the same developer because Atlus are the gods of JRPGs. Eat ****, Square Enix.

Dead Island 2 is installing as I type here. It'll be ready for me once I get off work. I am stoked.
