Mashing those plastic lids with drum sticks just feels so dead compared to the real thing. I mean, you could probably say the same about mashing plastic buttons on the guitar controllers, but I just think the drums are worse. Or in other words, I find the guitars more fun.

45 dollars is not that much here, actually It's a little less than what I'm paying for World Tour without instruments.

edit :

Guitar Hero 5 & Metallica are both just over 77 dollars here compared .. again without instruments.

^^ Love your avatar

I just "beat" Mario Kart Wii last night. It's a great game, and so much more fun playing with the nunchuck than the wheel.

I think I'm gonna finish New SMB next.

The controls are taking me a little while to get use to, but that's more due to the fact that I haven't played a using a Playstation controller n years.

Just finished Uncharted 2 yesterday, so I went out and got this bad boy today:

Can't wait to get playing.

I'm enjoying it, although there have been a few painful lines, especially when Batman says "Don't worry, I eat punks like these for breakfast", however that's really what I've come to expect from DC Comics.

The combat is incredibly well done and nothing makes you feel like more of a man than taking out a group of 8 thugs and not taking any damage.

The stealth element is also incredibly well done, essentially it's set up in two ways. The first way is pretty much you fighting a group of henchmen armed with things like pipes, fists, knives, or stun guns which is pretty easy and takes care of the combat element. Then sometimes you come across a room full of thugs armed with guns which quickly reduce Batman's health to nothing, so stealth is a must.

Everything is good about the game and is totally worth the money.

Ah yes I remember that line as well. It was completely corny, but I felt the game took itself pretty seriously and I was able to forgive a line like that every now and again.

The combat certainly is fantastic, and the PC controls at least are very easy to use. Not sure about Playstation/XBox.

And the stealth part is pretty much the coolest ever. They manage to keep it fresh when it could have gotten repetitive, by adding gadgets/ obstacles and such. Glad you like it! Have you played as the joker yet?

No I'm stuck on Poison Ivy, however I think I should be able to get past her tonight and maybe even finish the game because if I'm not mistaken I'm pretty close to the ending. I'll definitely buy a copy of it, if only to get it back to the people at GameFly so I can get my next game out to try.

I was stuck on Poison Ivy for a little bit too, she's definitely the hardest boss in the game. But yeah, you're relatively close to the ending.

I didn't find Arkham Asylum to be worth the money at all... it's a fantastic little game, while it lasts, but I completed the whole thing within 6 hours.

The boss battles were disappointing (especially Killer Croc) and the whole 'leaping off gargoyles' concept became repetitive after the first 3 hours. It was incredibly rentworthy, but for 40 quid it left me feeling a little cheated. Still, if they lengthen it out and mix it up a bit then the sequel could be the best game to come out next year.

As a side note, I'm really looking forward to the release of Aliens Vs Predator.
