just bought and played:-

Taito Legends 2 - collection of old Taito arcade games, with one of my faves in there - the pseudo-3D RayStorm
NHL 08 - NHL 09 doesn't work on my machine, so bought an earlier version, very smooth flowing and professional
Big Mutha Truckers 2 : Truck Me Harder - GTA-styled driving game, but with commerce and minor larceny and involving trucks
Metal Slug Anthology - has 1,2,3,X,4 and 5, all pretty much variations of the same 2D side-scrolling shoot-'em up - lotsa fun

i've got a few friends staying with me and one of them brought out the old snes last night and threw in this little beauty. needless to say, tempers flared, battles raged, and beers were drank, and we couldn't have had a better time.

Started up LA Noire but I feel like I'm missing out a bit because I don't have a Dualshock controller so I don't get vibrations when clues are near by.

I didn't play too much of it because I want to get a Dualshock controller first.

Haven't been playing very many games lately except for the occasional game of Mario Kart, but I recently started playing Mass Effect 2 again. Forgot how awesome the game was.

More fun, and challenging, without that.

Also, I beat L.A. Noire. Amazing ending to the story.

okay so I'll play a bit more today

Another thing, I turned off the option to skip ahead after failed attempts that's a bit more challenging yes?

Yea, but I never had much trouble with the action sequences.
