If you haven't played Xenogears or Chrono Trigger/Cross, I highly recommend checking out those classics as well.

FF > Zelda. Yeah I said it
Chrono Trigger is awesome, haven't played Cross

the Xenosaga series is also pretty good, though i think the plot's quite convuloted

Xenosaga isn't quite what Xenogears was. Less likable characters, and it pads the sheer visceral darkness of Xenogears down a tad.

Albeit, I hear Xenoblade is quite good.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God

don't worry Dr. I, too am a person who is behind in the games situation.
Doesn't help that my TV has blown, when I was on the final quest of New Vegas.
Arggghhh!!!
But still, I haven't played Red Dead Redemption yet, never mind Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Arkham City or any of the other great games that have been released recently.

Actually, I haven't even played Oblivion yet.

Red Dead Redemption is a fantastic game and captures the wild west superbly (I`m a big western fan as well) graphics are fantastic and the mission and storyline is also great. Its a 5 star game without a doubt.

Video Games from the Villain's Point of View Slideshow | Cracked.com

i thought the Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Grand Theft Auto parodies were quite funny

I love the sound of all these games (have checked them out on wiki) I`m sure that I`ve played the Grandia game. I really liked the sound of Dragonquest VIII and Rogue Galaxy as noticed most of these games have that FFVII battle sequence. I always think of myself as an avid games player, but I`m surprised that I missed all these games. I looking to really play a lot of retro adventure games in the new year.

I`ve been reading the reviews of Skyrim and I`m very impressed, will certainly get this and the new Zelda game over the Christmas period.
