I have Deux Ex, Driver and Call of Duty MOW 3 to play still.

Some good stuff to check out. The latest Metal Gear Solid, The latest GTA game, Dead Space 2, Heavy Rain and Red Dead Redemption.

i haven't played that game yet but my friends and workers at gamestop recommended it to me many times ..it looks pretty hard though :/
I returned metal gear solid 4 last week..I have red dead redemption :)
I heard heavy rain is formatted more like a movie than a game and that it's extremely long and can be boring in the beginning..
Have you played assasin's creed 2? or any of the dragon ball z games?

Unknown Soldier 07-24-2012 03:27 PM

I didn't like the first Assassins Creed so never played the others, keep thinking maybe of playing them again.

I wouldn't say Skyrim is hard, it's just very different from many of the games of today that have tutorial levels and have mapped out a very linear path for you to follow. Skyrim is more organic, letting you choose how you wish to proceed and actually rewards you for it. You're not shoehorned into following the story, in fact, many players don't even bother with the story, choosing to follow the side quests or just roam around the game world finding things to do that increase the skills of their chosen character build.

If you're looking at getting into the Assassin's Creed series then you probably do want to start off with the first one, which kind of sucks because the first one had some serious design problems. Assassin's Creed II is defintely better, but there's no real recap of the previous games story and if you start with that one then you will be genuinely confused for the first little while. Not only that but Assassin's Creed II is also a little too easy, which diminished some of the really enjoyable parts of the first game, like when you were being chased by guards through the city.

Skyrim is not hard but it wears you down and is insanely addictive at times.

The problem I had with Assassin's Creed, was that I seemed to spend nearly all my time jumping onto roofs or jumping off them, the whole thing got very monotonous.

I'm so getting skyrim :) it's not a shooter game is it?
Have you ever beat that game ?

ughhhhh so the smart thing to do is get the first assasin's creed? ****kk! I heard quite a few bad things about that one..I was planning on getting Assasin's Creed 2 :D but now idk what to do..i barely purchased a ps3 recently so many games seem hard for me lol..so that's not an issue (it being easy and all)
can you recommend me a few games as well?

Skyrim can be pretty damn hard if you crank up the difficulty level, especially as a stealth/archery class trying to fight dragons/bosses.

That's very true, I'm having a hard time defeating heavily armored opponents who use two-handed weapons. I'm trying to use my agility and light armor to get around them, attack and then run away, but it can be hard to gauge the reach of their weapons. I definitely need to improve my alchemy so I can start making better poisons, that may help give me an advantage, but so far it's been a trial and error type of game for me.

just finished this game

Zeno Clash
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_nKfiQeIvXs...Zeno_Clash.jpg

and what a strange journey it was. this probably has some of the most unusual and unique creatures and environments that I've ever seen in a game. I've heard it be called "Peyote Clash" and I think that fits it well. To quote someone else too, "If Frank Zappa was a game designer, this is what he'd make".

the combat/gameplay is what really sells it though. at first I thought I wouldn't like it cause it was a 1st person melee and I wasn't used to all the mechanics, but once you get the mechanics down it's pretty damn satisfying to bust some skulls in. that and it's really challenging, even in the beginning.

but yeah, I would recommend it if you're looking for something really different and kind of out there.

Just as good if not better than U2.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I'm about 25 hours in so far at level 23 playing a Khajiit assassin build who's becoming a real terror with archery and backstabbing. I'm starting to build up my stats in alchemy, mostly because I want to start making poisons. I'd also like to get better at dual wielding weapons because of my agility and speed bonusus.

This is definitely drawing me in more than Oblivion did and I'm even pretty happy with some of the influences from the Fallout games. This should definitely keep me busy until Dishonored and Bioshock: Infinite come out.

Yea I heard this is a really good game. Thinking of getting it after finishing Assassin's Creed Rev. Which will probably be a long time from now.
