Can't wait for this. I'm pretty confident that the series will get back on track with this one (if you can even consider 2 a part of the series, with different people working on it).

Still liked bioshock 2 a lot. As bioshock cannon its worthless, but as a product it did refine the gameplay of bioshock a lot, and was actually more enjoyable to play, even if isn't as strong experience.

what is the consensus on Dishonoured? Sorry if this has already been discussed, recently got a PS3 again and any game by Bethesda interests me, has anyone played it yet?

Started up Eternal Sonata the other night. Its fun, I like the battle system a lot. The story is kinda slow at the moment though and the cutscenes get a bit preachy. Its definitely nice to be able to play some good old jrpg goodness on a current gen console though.

It was fun. The setting was absolutely brilliant and the game was thoroughly well done.

It wasn't perfect, but definitely one of the best games of yesteryear. If I have one beef with it, it was that most of the character upgrades you get are for combat and I chose to play a stealth character. Had I played it again today, I would've kicked a little more anus and gotten to use those combat powers more.

Maybe I'd just play an evil character.

I have Dishonored sitting on my shelf waiting to be played. I'm way too backlogged at the moment, I like the positive reception on it I'm hearing though.

Eventually it will wittle away the ps3 just like the ps2 and games will become scarce. That game was unbelievably fun though and I also thought Borderlands 2 was solid gold.
It's pretty unlikely PS4 will be that expensive, Sony dug themselves a huge hole right off the bat pricing the PS3 $200 above the competition, and they spent the rest of the gen catching up. They were discovering how to implement blu-ray for the first time, and they spent a lot of money including backwards compatibility in the system. They'd be foolish to repeat the same mistake again. Chances are backward compatibility won't be included in PS4 and blu-ray is a lot cheaper now then it was.

Latest rumors I've heard put the PS4 pricing at around $430, or 40000 yen.

I wish it was, but I'm for sure getting it after testing it out, it was insane! It's not as quick and definitely requires more skill. It's still $40 new, can't get any used EA game because the cleveR greedy bastards found if you make the online by a pass only...hmm...it's around $15 used, online pass is another $20, with tax around $40, fuck EA, and it's probably just a taste of what's to come.
