I can't freaking wait for that game. Me and a close friend of mine agreed we're going to play the crap out of that game together when it comes out. I'm waiting till the games comes out to buy a PS4.

It's basically borderlands. I'm still not sure about MMOs, I hate relying on a server to play my games, nothing is more annoying than finally having an hour to play something only to find that's the time they've picked for server maintenance, or playing a particulary long mission when your internet gets a small hiccup and you're kicked back to the start screen.

The bosses aren't too much of a grind and the AI is really well done, like really well done, you won't have people standing in the open taking bullets to the face and when they go into hiding it's not to play whack-a-mole, they shift around and work together to try flank you. So you're not standing there trading bullets like robo-cop or waiting awkwardly for a head to pop up every 2 minutes, it's nicely balanced to keep you in the action and on your toes, if you find an ideal spot to shoot from you will have to fight to keep it, they'll branch out, flank or just rush you.

The classes however don't seem to change the dynamics all that much, the tanks don't really tank, the scouts don't scout and the wizards don't wizard, unless you're looking for specific abilities it seems classes are mostly an aesthetic concern.

**** yeah Mass Effect 2. I'm hoping you played a game of the first one and imported it to 2 first, cause there's a lot of the storyline that will be changed if you didn't, not to mention all the money and resource bonuses you'll miss out on, and money and resources are hard to come by in that game.

I did! but shepard looks weird, in the first game i made him look smexy but in the 2nd one his looks didn't translate well and now he looks a bit creepy lol

It was such a pain to download this game, it's a large file and it takes me like 2 days to download it but every time i did it wouldn't install properly so the download was useless!

it took me like 10 tries to finally catch a break and get it but now im not as pumped up to play it as when i first got it now i just wanna get with Tali <3

I'd just as soon go with the default Shepard for a male playthrough. It's almost impossible to make one that isn't fugly. Besides, I simply don't care enough about Male Shepard to spend too much time on him. His voice actor is **** and makes his character seem flat. FemShep is the only Shep as far as I'm concerned. The only bummer is she can't go lesbo with Tali or Ashley. I mean Male Shep can get gay with Kaiden in the last game, why not the other way around with Ashley too?

And do you have the DLC? The one thing that hurts my soul about Mass Effect is that I don't have Live so I can't get the DLC. It's a hate crime, man.

BTW what class are you?

Vanguard i think..

i just started it like 2 days ago so im still not really familiar with the game, which DLC's are actually worth buying? i just have the cerberus pack which was free.

i got really used to the gameplay mechanics of ME1 and i see they have changed them, i don't even know how to customize my party's equipment like in ME1 yet

I love, love, love Vanguard. Once you figure how to use him the tactics you can use are just so much fun. And when you get the chance to choose different weapons on the Collector ship you should take the Claymore shotgun. Apparently (I haven't gotten it yet, ) you can one hit kill just about any peon without having to first bring down its shields, armor, or barrier, even on Insanity. Combined with the Biotic Charge that's pretty much sex in a can.

I don't really know the names or what all has what, but I know there are two party characters that you can only get with DLC, and there's a Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC that goes into Liara's fight with the Shadow Broker that's supposed to be pretty much essential.

Unfortunately you can't. You only get to give them different weapons at the start screen before a mission, and you never get to change their armor. That's one thing that's not so good about 2, the customization, for equipment and character abilities, got lobotomized.

lol thnx for the advice

Why? why take the customization out? it wasn't that complex to begin with, before i got the games i read fan reviews of them and they said ME1 was more rpg driven but ME2 was more driven as a shooter and that ME3 was a combination of both, is that true?

as i recall they said ME1 had the better customizations in all 3 games, if something like that works, why change it?

Pretty much.

Meh. The abilities in 1 were cool, but no where near as awesome as in 2 and 3. And I never really truly cared about how customizable you were in the first game. It was too easy to become god on a stick, what with Frictionless Materials and whatnot, so customization was almost a moot point. The thing that Mass Effect 1 really had over the other two games was an excellent, cohesive storyline from start to finish. I think the fanboys just like to nitpick.
