I like the Mass Effect games. The second one could have been better though.

Right now I am playing a few, all of which are on the PC. Elder Scrolls Online, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Transistor. All are good games.

Yes, but when I'm obsessively managing my inventory after every mission/side mission that **** gets old REAL ****ing quick.

I'm the biggest ME whore on this site. If anyone wishes to challenge that then you better have at least four separate characters who you've played through the entire trilogy at least once each in the past year. But those games have so many issues that if they weren't so awesome I'd have set them on fire as soon as I beat them.

**** man, I've fallen down another Final Fantasy hole. I start one, get really far, get stuck at a boss or I have to grind, and then I start another one. I'm 90% through the FFX remaster (and then I have to start FFX-2 out of principal), I'm 90% of the way through FFVI (stuck grinding right before the final boss), I'm 90% of the way through FFIV (it's just kinda starting to bore me to death), about 70% through FFIX, I've restarted FFIII, FFXIII, FFVIII, and I just started FFXIII-3. Man, I gotta stop.

On another note, the Diablo III expansion is pretty damn fun.

I could coach you on the way of Final Fantasy games. I am a guru. I know those games, inside and out.

What bosses are you stuck on?

On FFX I'm stuck at Lady Yunalesca...I've beaten the game before, I just can't remember how I beat her.

I'm sure I can handle FFVI, it's just a matter of working up the will to grind enough to fight Kefka. Got any tips for facing him?

Everything else is pretty manageable at the moment...I really would love to finally beat FFIX because it's a great game but for some reason I've never made it to the end. FFVIII just confuses the hell out of me what with the damn junctioning thing.

Getting through a Final Fantasy game is easy. You just grind at every decent random battle area for days on end until it takes at least three hours to gain a single level. FFV is pretty good for this, since you have multiple classes to build for each character, and they provide interim accomplishments that get you through the mindless drudgery of getting to each level.

Yeah...**** JRPGs. Especially final fantasy IV.

'Oh this enemy is impervious to all your attacks except a fire spell? Well, guess what, all the enemies just randomly targeted your mage and killed him. Game over.'

'Oh you thought the last boss was easy? Well we've now made all the random encounters contain enemies that are stronger the last boss somehow. Oh and good luck trying to escape, because you can't.'

The concept is easy, getting through it is hard. Grinding is boring as hell and with your average FF game, there is about 40 hours worth of it. I only grind when absolutely necessary because I enjoy the strategy aspect of the bosses...technically, you should be able to beat most bosses without being insanely leveled, you just have to use the right strategy. That's why I love FF games. I can't stand it when I have to sit and grind for 2 hours.

I won't lie, the original version was effing hard. I actually started playing through the mobile 3d remake at the same time that I'm playing the original version just to compare and I've officially given up on the original version.

you crack me up man, yea that weapon customization thing in ME1 turned into a cargo issue more than anything.
i think they had a good idea but they flooded it with too much equipment that you could barely distinguish from one another.
