Damn, that brings back memories. My older sister had one of those, and I ended up with a yellow Game Boy Color later on.

Some old woman living in the same house as my grandmother just gave mine to me.
We arrived from the Soviet Union just 1-2 years before that, were still pretty much dirt-poor and it seemed to me like the pinnacle of human technology.

Anybody played Destiny here and if so what is the opinion on the game?

Playing some Mass Effect 2 again, and I'm gonna take the assault rifle upgrade as a soldier instead of the sniper rifle. I love the Widow sniper rifle, but I've used it to death, and apparently ME forum goers swear by the Revenant assault rifle once you've got the accuracy upgrade. I've always used the Vindicator, due to its extreme accuracy (with the Adrenaline Rush it's pretty much a guaranteed headshot every time) and stopping power, but we'll see what happens.

Have you tried a shotgun approach yet?

I've played it for a few hours and it bored me to death. It has a terrible story, poor dialogue, a very uninteractive world but, in its favour, it does have decent gunplay. I'm not a big FPS fan though so my opinion doesn't mean much. If you like grinding and are into collecting, you may like it. Some gamers adore it and I'm told it gets pretty addictive.

Man, I've played Vanguard so much the shotgun would feel wrong with any other class. I only picked this playthrough up after several months away, and I was kind of shocked that I was playing as a Soldier. No idea why I picked it this time around.

I remember that playing with a pistol was fun, too. That rapid-fire skill was ridiculous.

When I played ME2 I chose the sniper upgrade and regretted it, as I read later that the assault rifle upgrade is far more useful.

Well this is a good honest opinion and I may well give it a miss.

I know a lot of people have played the Dark Souls games here, question is it necessary to play Dark Souls I before playing Dark Souls II, or can you just jump into the series with Dark Souls II?
