I've heard the game play is immense but the story line is lacking and that's what I always liked about MGS. But I read an article and they ranked it 2nd of all the MGS games (3 was #1) so if it's better than 2, 3 & 4 I'll be very happy.

the storyline's okay. there's a few surprises here and there, but some of those might be fairly obvious. there's a handful of cool moments, too. it might feel rushed, because maybe it is, though; there's speculation about whether the 3rd chapter exists or not or if it was supposed to (i don't know if that's been put to rest or what yet).

i'm curious about what you'll think of the ending

I've been enjoying the post-game exploration more than I thought I would as well. There's still some things that I have yet to do and a lot of side quests that I'd like to finish. Definitely not as bad of a game that I initially thought.
What build did you end up using?
