Right now imho BF3 is the best fps shooter out there. BO2 is supposedly the ultimate "cod" experience so if you don't mind indestructible furniture and idiots camping behind a refrigerator for the whole game, go for BO2 :P
Plus BF3 is what, 10$ right now ?

I like nice graphics, but when you play a GAME, the most important part should be the GAMEPLAY. If I just wanted nice graphics I'll watch some CGI movie or TV show. And even if it is one of the first things you look at, the gameplay should be the main deciding factor for whether or not it's a good GAME.

oh, and your point about the graphics deterring people from playing it....

This game is great. Aesthetically very much like half life, mechanically like bioshock 2. A lot of fun, a lot of care has been taken. Love how the stealth mechanics don't revolve around superficial meters or warning levels yadda yadda, gameplay is organic. Only thing negative to say is there are some unflattering textures here and there.

I really enjoyed that game also. The swarm of rats is a pretty damn cool option and it certainly does remind me alot of the gameplay in the bioshock series. A pretty slick game indeed, hope they have a second installment i'd step up for sure.

Wall Street Journal is saying the next playstation is coming out this year, and will be announced feb 20

I would assume it would be available on both decks. PS3 isn't going away anytime soon. The PS4 is gonna be astronomical in price also, i'm waging a guess at 899 or 999 for the starters. Eventually it will wittle away the ps3 just like the ps2 and games will become scarce. That game was unbelievably fun though and I also thought Borderlands 2 was solid gold.

yeah, im hoping sony has learned from the past two excursions that they should price their stuff more competitively

this is some of the neatest game promotion i've seen
