FIFA 13

Best sports game I have ever played hands down. I learn as much playing this as when I watch actual football matches, it's realistic without being impossible. The 11 vs. 11 online matches is my new favorite multiplayer, it's so much ****ing fun, especially when you have teammates from all over the world, first time being cursed at in Deutsch.
I'd say its up there with NHL13 as my two favorite games. The game engine has continued to improve, the graphics seemingly better and its just a hell of a goodtime.

One of my roommates got Far Cry 2 just the other day to play on my PS3. $14, pretty good deal. I've never played any of them yet so is it worth playing the first one before it?

Far cry 2 is not worth playing. Period.
FC1 was cool, for it's time. FC2 was pretty, but so broken on many levels playing it gave me no fun, only made me more frustrated.
FC3 on the other hand ... is just brilliant.
I know that's not what you want to hear, but get fc 3. You don't have to play any of the previous parts.

All of the games are unrelated to each other, they just share similar game engines (with obvious upgrades). Honestly Far Cry 2 is a bit of a slog to get through because you have to constantly stop and clear out checkpoints along the road which makes getting anywhere a pain in the ass. There's also really no story to speak of and no real characters, just people doing stuff. There's some impressive technology on display and some real effort went into making an accurate depiction of Africa and I did like the mature ending as well as some of the philosophical statements and parallels made, but the gameplay is just kind of... ass.

Anyways I had to create a new Skyrim character because... I did something and deleted all my save files. Good bye Mr. Mostlymittens, Arwyn, and Arthur, and say hello to Arthena.

I always just bought all the ingredients from the shops, turned them into potions, and sold them back to them.

You don't think it's a bit generic, Eric? See what I did there?

Here is my question, Get Black Ops 2 or Battlefield 3, or wait for Battlefield 4.
I started playing Battlefield Bad Company the other day it's mad fun. I don't think I want to pay for another COD game though.

Anyone a DayZ player/waiting for the standalone?

Yea, all I wanted to know is if they had a connected storyline. Thanks for the advice, even though it sounds like a bummer.
