Legion pulled me right back in.

So i'm hooked on WoW again. I'm also not really the type to just play for two months after the expansion then give up on it. I have an active guild that I play with so I know I will be on it for awhile. I've even met up with this guild irl. It was super fun.

I've gotten my hands on a bunch of criminally cheap Xbox 360 games, so I've been playing around with Spec Ops the Line, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Operation Flashpoint, Operation Flashpoint 2, Saint's Row 2, Saint's Row 3, Raven Squad, Ninja Gaiden II, Thief (Theif "4", of course) and Prince of Persia (2008).

So far, the only stinker has been the Prince of Persia game. Thief has been pretty neat despite how dumbed down it is. Just play on hard and turn off all assists. The two Operation Flashpoint games are interesting, but a bit complicated. I find the first one in particular gives me a lot of trouble. Murdered SS seems to be a lot better than Heavy rain, which is the game I'd immediately compare it to.

Play Saints Row 3, masturbate, and then play Saints Row 4.

I've played them before and 2 is probably my fave. 4 is both better and worse than the other 3. The super powers and aliens don't feel right in my Saint's Row.

But the gameplay is so ridiculous that it's amazing. Combined with the tone of 3 it's brilliant.

I like just ****ing around and climbing towers. The actual story missions sort of get worse further into the game. It's the one SR game I doubt I'll ever complete. Luckily there's a lot to do without completing the story. Gat out of Hell was allright too, but a bit lazily put together.

Wait, I remember what I dislike the most about SR 4. Those flying aliens on jet scooters make the game a pain in the ass when playing on hard mode. They're just relly annoying and not fun to fight. Gat out of Hell has the same problem, magnified by 10.

They're a pain in the ass until you realize that throwing balls of ice/fire kills them in one hit. And yeah, the story missions aren't always the best. But the sense of humor of the game is strong and makes everything totally meta.

I liked the Shaundi from the past bit (at least I think that was in 4. Memory is a bit hazy.) Playing it the first time was awesome since new crazy **** kept happening all the time. The fake 50's town thing was funny as hell when I didn't expect it.
