Doing yet another Fallout New Vegas run for the millionth time.
Decided to go with Legion this time.

Never gotten close to beating that game, but **** have I put so much time into it. Fallout 3 was my first Fallout game, and that playthrough will likely always be my definitive experience, but New Vegas just had so much more **** to do that I probably sank as much time into it as Skyrim or Oblivion.

New Vegas is basically Fallout 3 on steroids, much better features, a more engaging (less claustrophobic) world, a fantastic story, better factions, etc. I've sunk more time into Skyrim but New Vegas is catching up quick. What kinda character did you run during your last playthrough of NV?

I generally find it hard to stick to "Renegade" character types, as I just don't have the heart to basically kick puppies, so my characters are almost always good-to-decent human beings. Another thing Fallout 3 had going for it I suppose. The evil options were just so delicious that I could truly indulge my baser instincts.

I don't know, I always found the Legion to be a far better evil option than anything in Fallout 3. Then again, my current character is a badass Katana wielding decapitator that plows through entire NCR bases.

Have you played the Fallout 4 DLC yet? I finished it a while back and it's damn good. I cherish my playthrough with Fallout 3 because it was my first experience, and when I played Fallout: New Vegas, I was a bit turned off by how 'lively' it was. I enjoy the more desolate dead atmosphere of Fallout 3.

No question that I prefer NV, but that first Fallout playthrough was a revelation, and New Vegas still had nothing to compare to the DC ruins.

Fallout 3 has probably the single most enticing evil choice mission series of any game I've ever played: Tenpenny Tower. It pretty much set the tone for my whole playthrough.

There's really no other game that has had such an effect on me like the DC ruins. The quiet sound of death was so well done it could make a grown man cry.

Tenpenny Tower is amazing too.

Honestly, I haven't bothered with Fallout 4 since its release, I only put around 20 hours into it. It's been far too streamlined, and simplified and I just can't get into it like I was able to with New Vegas. See, Fallout 3 actually felt more cramped for me, and as a result more populated.

Okay I'll admit Tenpenny Tower was legit, but it just doesn't compare to being able to climb to Fortification Hill, and look down on the Legion just going ham with all them Crucifixtions, then fighting in the arena.
