I never liked it either. But now that I'm older I'm beginning to enjoy it more. Same with Seinfeld. I used to hate it, now I think it's brilliant.

Really? Interesting. I think the first season is rubbish compared to three, four and even eight, nine and ten.

Well I know it may sound strange..but I have just started watching Mad Men..
Half first season and I am already addicted to the series..

it's not strange.

Some people get into series at different points. They may not watch it from the very beginning but it doesn't matter as long as they watch and catch themselves up with series that they love.

I actually finished watching through all four seasons a week ago. Amazing show. AMC knows what's good.

it's the same with South Park - i liked the 1st season, though people say it gets better later

it's that just it was fresh and new, later on, there's just too much bric-a-brac amongst the characters, intertwining relationships, sub-plots as it carries on

Seinfeld I practically loved the entire run, mostly because any one episode can be stand-alone
