I'll have to check that out and compare it to sitting on my hand.

There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. ????

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

If they weren't so LOUD about it all I could could watch more than an episode or two at a time. Small doses are best -

Sorry, had to, man!

Almost finished Zerozerozero, and could you get a more multi-national, cosmopolitan show? English, Spanish (Mexican), France, Italian and I think possibly some African language too (some of it is shot in Senegal) - lots of subtitles, lots of interweaving plots - the motif of the black snake in the opening credits is very appropriate. Violent as hell, thoroughly enjoyable. From the people who brought you Gomarrah.

Resident Alien just gets better. "I could grow a moustache as a disguise. But then I would have to get a job as a firefighter or a paedophile." Thinking about diving into Your Honour - Bryan Cranston? I'm there. Probably.

Finished, quite a satisfying ending thankfully.

Moved on to: Call my agent!

French show about a French talent (actors) management agency. 6 episodes per season, about 1h per episode, featuring real life actors playing themselves.

Quite fun

Ultraman (1966) Still get a kick out this corny series. An alien from Nebula M78 comes to Earth in pursuit of a galactic demon and trades his life with, Hayata, a young engineering student/pilot after a fatal accident. Hayata morphs into the alien whenever there's a monster confrontation. I did have a fetish for the English language version but the original Japanese track is actually superior. Poster has he entire first season up.
