Being Erica

I have already mentioned this on here but I just finished watching the entire show and I have to say that this is one of the best drama series I have ever seen. I can't wait for the fourth season, too bad it's going to be the last one. Also, now I have a strong desire to visit Toronto in the future.

Just started it, I'm impressed by the special effects though. Seems like it must have costed a fortune to make. I thought it was going to be a lot more dorky then it actually is too.

I grew up with the original mid 80's series 'V' and at the time it was fantastic. Looking back it probably looks terrible but I have delved into the remake of the series from last year and I have been pleasantly surprised.

Decent mainstream fodder that has remained enjoyable as it has philosophical. Decent stuff as far as mainstream T.V goes.

Yeah too bad they canceled it already. The good stuff always gets canceled

So basically there is no closure regarding this series (season)? I may as well stop watching now.

U.S tv networks are terribly fickle

Yeah, anything besides CSI ripoff cop dramas or reality shows usually die a quick death.

I hate American television. If it isn't predicted to withstand a minimum of 6 seasons, it's scrapped, and if it does, it's milked to absolute death.

Well, at least as far as comedy goes, I enjoy a lot more British work.

Ultimately, I also like that they tend to wrap things up in a reasonable period of time as well.

I've tried many British comedies and they don't do anything for me. I also doubt there exist any dramas in the same league as The Wire, The Sopranos, or Mad Men. If there are, I'd be happy to try them, I just haven't heard of any.
