Having run out of Mad Men on DVD, I started this tonight. 1.5 episodes in, I'm pretty impressed.

I love Louie, it's completely hilarious on a whole different level. Exactly what you'd except from Louis C.K. if you've seen his stand-ups at all.

Possibly one of the most bleak final seasons... still there are some genuinely happy moments.

Season premier last night. Continues to kick Stargate Universe's ass for top sci-fi television program.

Has been really good this year. Love seeing my favorite cartoon back on the air, it's like it never left!

Which makes it all the more puzzling as to why The Mighty Boosh is so unfunny.
It took me a couple of years (literally) to get The Mighty Boosh but once it clicks- it's superb. There are a few duff moments but it's utter disregard for the atypical sitcom format and it's use of not only script but costumes and music makes it a very rewarding show and all those I.T crowd haters- Ricard Ayoade- comedy genius. He is so deadpan it hurts. He is also a writer and music video director too (Super Furry Animals etc). Matt Berry is great too.

The secret to good sitcom as opposed to sketch shows is character, character, character and the I.T crowd manages to create characters that are far from one dimensional, so place them in even mundane situations and they still appeal due to their characters.

I love The IT Crowd

Matt Berry seems to have a habit of stealing every scene he's in
