What do you mean it's neither? They just named Nic Cage's movie after it and it doesn't resemble the original at all?

I have been trying to remember that guy's name forever it's been bugging the crap out of me. A lot of anime really annoys me but his films are amazing- the stories, plots, animation, backdrops... all of it is incredible. Definitely any of his movies could be a favorite but Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are top contenders. PM was one of the first movies I saw as a kid, I used to watch it every Friday when my mom would take me to the video store (Remember those!? My generation might be the last to even know what they were!).

Any-hoot, other favorites are:

Pulp Fiction
The Big Lebowski
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Big Fish
Tim Burton's Batman
Apocalypse Now
We Jam Econo (fans of The Minutemen and indie/alt/punk need to see this)
Smoke Signals
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Shining
This is England
Run Lola Run
Breakfast At Tiffany's
because Audrey's a ****in babe so sue me for liking a girly movie.

There's a lot of other obscure movies, recent and not so, that I can't remember the name of but as far as movies most people have seen, the ones above are some of my favorites.

Hah! I remember those days...

Pulp Fiction and Big Fish are also super high up on my list. Good taste in movies!

I saw REC for the first time the other day and hell I was impressed with it.

Horror of Dracula, I love all those Hammer films anyway especially the Dracula series.
