Definitely any of his movies could be a favorite but Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are top contenders. PM was one of the first movies I saw as a kid, I used to watch it every Friday when my mom would take me to the video store (Remember those!? My generation might be the last to even know what they were!).

Any-hoot, other favorites are:

Pulp Fiction
The Big Lebowski
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Big Fish
Tim Burton's Batman
Apocalypse Now
We Jam Econo (fans of The Minutemen and indie/alt/punk need to see this)
Smoke Signals
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Shining
This is England
Run Lola Run
Breakfast At Tiffany's
because Audrey's a ****in babe so sue me for liking a girly movie.

There's a lot of other obscure movies, recent and not so, that I can't remember the name of but as far as movies most people have seen, the ones above are some of my favorites.
Great choices, espcially Breakfast At Tiffany's, I'm a huge Audrey fan. I have a huge plaque of her behind my bed with Marilyn on the other side.

Speaking of that. FX is working on a tv series based off of that movie that works as a sequel more so than the silly direct to video sequel that came out.

It's nothing like AP.

"Henry" was filmed during the winter of 1985-86 by a Chicago director named John McNaughton, on a budget of $125,000, using unknown actors from the free-wheeling Organic Theater Company. Loosely inspired by the confessions, since recanted, of a self-described mass murderer named Henry Lucas, the film uses a slice-of-life approach to create a docudrama of chilling horror.

Unlike typical "slasher" movies, "Henry" does not employ humor, campy in-jokes or a colorful anti-hero. Filmed in the gray slush and wet winter nights of Chicago's back alleys, honky-tonk bars and drab apartments, it tells of a drifter who kills strangers, efficiently and without remorse. The movie contains scenes of heartless and shocking violence, committed by characters who seem to lack the ordinary feelings of common humanity.
IMO it is the best serial killer movie. But it's not for everyone.
